Julie Balsamo, Owner & Registered Dietitian
Julie’s Educational Background and Experience:
Julie Balsamo is a Registered Dietitian and holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. Julie specializes in a holistic, whole-body approach to nutrition, combining cutting-edge research with functional practices to uncover and address the root causes of her clients’ health concerns.
Her expertise includes helping individuals struggling with digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, skin conditions, and weight challenges.
About Me:
My passion lies in empowering clients to regain control of their health through personalized nutrition. I believe every symptom is our body’s way of sending a signal—sometimes subtle, sometimes loud—that something isn’t quite right. My job is to help you tune into those signals, uncover the root cause, and create a plan that feels realistic, sustainable, and aligned with your life.
Outside of my work, I’m a wife, dog lover, and new mom to a sweet baby girl. Family is everything to me, and I understand firsthand the juggling act of trying to care for yourself while caring for others. When I’m not at home, you’ll usually find me soaking up all the outdoor beauty Wyoming has to offer!

About Me:
My passions lie in helping people achieve their health goals and feel their best. I live by the philosophy that there are no superfoods, only super-eating patterns! I believe no one is perfect regarding diet, and I don’t expect yours to be either! I will work with you based on your needs. Whether it is helping you make small manageable diet and lifestyle changes or help you create a meal plan, I'll be there to support and encourage you on your journey! I enjoy helping people bring fun back to food!
I grew up and still live in Western Wyoming. I love being outside and hanging out with my family. My favorite foods include salmon, raspberries, and ice cream! I enjoy outdoor activities such as snowmobiling, gardening, snow biking, hiking, camping, horseback riding, mountain biking, kayaking, alpine tour skiing, paddle boarding, dirt biking, and more!

About Me:
My teaching philosophy embraces a whole-person approach, helping patients uncover core imbalances and nutritional deficiencies that contribute to chronic health conditions. I believe in personalized, patient-centered care, emphasizing that “everyone is unique and should be treated as an individual, not defined by a disease or illness.” I work collaboratively with my clients to design nutrition plans that seamlessly fit their lifestyles while meeting their specific needs.
In addition to my professional practice, I coach field hockey at a local private school, where I support student-athletes in optimizing both their academic and athletic performance. In my free time, I enjoy playing field hockey, running, and swimming—staying active and connected to my passion for health and wellness.

About MeOutside of work, you’ll find me lacing up my hiking boots, whipping up something delicious in the kitchen, or nose‐deep in a good book. Traveling is my happy place—nothing beats exploring a new city’s grocery aisles—and I always come home inspired by local flavors and ingredients.
My greatest joy, though, is sharing what I’ve learned; whether it’s teaching healthy‐eating lessons to my daughter’s class or coaching clients one-on-one. My personal pantry stars dark chocolate, sweet potatoes, figs, salmon, and nut butters—the perfect lineup for fueling everything from morning workouts to weekend bake-offs. I like to make healthy healthy living fun, flavorful, and totally doable!
